On Saturday 15 October, the community had a great night with a dinner, aiming to raise the awareness of poverty around the world, especially Rotary's role in doing so under their RAWCS program.
There were guest speakers about their views of how poverty is progressing as they have witnessed it first-hand including Onyako Bailey, who is originally from Kenya, our Shelterbox representative, and a Salvation Army representative.
It was organised jointly by the Rotaract Club, as well as Dubbo Rotary and Rotary Club of Dubbo Macquarie Inc.
